The Flower Girls

These beautiful girls are the lovely daughters of my late cousin Danny and Robbie and Aaron Chavez. Here are Gabbie and Bella at my cousin and bridesmaid Lisa's wedding on 7/7/07 where they sported summery sunset colored tones. Bella is on the left striking a pose, and Gabbie is on the right looking elegant and demure.I talked to them this weekend when my aunties took them to Reno. (Go figure.) When I asked Gabbie if she was excited to be a flower girl again, she said to me, "I did it for my mom's wedding, I did it for Auntie Lisa, I am READY!" I asked Bella if she was excited, but she was breathless and giggly since she was being tickled by her big sis and her auntie!
Makaela Hewitt
This sassy little princess is Makaela, the daughter of my cousin Maricel and her husband Byron (who btw is also in the Navy and used to buy stuff for his car from Nick during his car days!) This precious angel is a shy one, but once she is comfortable with you she will gladly share her toys and chat with you. But don't feed her anything without asking her mom first, she has a lot of food allergies. Don't worry Makaela, we'll make sure we have food allergy friendly snacks and treats for you!Ring Bearer
Ferdinand Cuenco, Jr.
Junior, aka juju, is the moody yet way too adorable jamon/sack of rice/30 lb meatloaf/son of my friend and Matron of Honor Anabel and her husband Ferdinand. (Ferdi is also in the Navy AND helped Nick learn some Navy knowledge before Nick went to boot camp!) Not only is junior the baby boy of our dear friends, but he is also my Godson. Like any good Filipino boy, you can bet he will be wearing a Barong Tagalog on our wedding day. Besides, he already has one from his auntie's wedding last year!Coin Bearer

If you're wondering why there's no picture here, it's because Lucas isn't here yet. His mama Lisa, my cousin and bridesmaid, is due to have him any day now! Even if he isn't walking just yet by our wedding, we'll find a way to make it happen. :) Can't wait to meet you Lucas!
